A small study painted as a loose interpretation of a reference photo I took while on a hike.
An exploration of color to create light and depth in a wooded scene with lots of leaves. I took some liberties with my use of color to exaggerate and emphasize the foreground and create a pop of interest in the butterfly.
The painting is varnished and protected from UV rays and dust.
It comes in a wood plein air style frame with a white finish.
