I can totally geek out about beautiful lighting in nature, particularly how sunlight shines through branches of trees and the layers of leaves take on all different colors, bring the tree to life with such depth and beauty. So I am often that nature-loving nerd who stops in the middle of a run when the lighting is just right and a scene strikes me. Until recently, nature wasn’t incorporated often in my work, but this small study gave me the opportunity to learn more about nature’s lighting to practice so that I can incorporate all of the things that inspire me into my work.
The painting is varnished and protected from UV rays and dust.
It comes in a wood plein air style frame with a white finish.
