Framed 6 x 6 inch painting
I wanted to play with dramatic lighting once again, and I also loved the way these colors seem to vibrate together. This painting and the other pear piece titled “Fluttering Admiration” seem to tell a story to me. This little butterfly seems affectionate towards the pear, which is why I gave it its title.
The painting is 6x6 inches on panel. It is framed in a black and gold wood frame measuring approximately 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 (outer dimensions). The face of the frame is gold while the sides and inside edge are both black.
